OVERALL WINNER Neuron Soundware
The Winners’ Night on 29th November 2016 at Mánes Gallery Prague was an absolute highlight of Connect Visions to Solutions! The German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DTIHK) and all partners have awarded six start-ups for their innovative technological solutions. Neuron Soundware became the overall winner of the contest. Its intelligent software can assess the technical condition of machines by their sound. "This is not the first competition we have won, but the special thing here is that a future cooperation with the partner companies is very likely," says Pavel Konečný, CEO of Neuron Soundware.
A total of 40 startups sent their solutions for the partners’ tasks by mid-September. "We have succeeded in bringing together leading companies with innovators and creating synergies," says president of the DTIHK Axel Limberg. Jan Mládek, Minister of Industry and Commerce, also present at the Winners’ Night, praised the initiative and underlined the importance of startups for the Czech economy.
Immediately before the award ceremony, around 100 entrepreneurs, managers, innovators and investors took part in an unconference. This is an organic format in which the participants suggest their own innovation topics for discussions and can inspire each other in a very open way. "In times of a high speed of innovation only the ones can get ahead, who are willing to share their experience and discuss it with others,” thinks Bernard Bauer, CEO of the DTIHK.
All finalists won consulting services from Deloitte and Roland Berger in the value of 2.000 EUR and free membership in the DTIHK for one year. The overall winner gets extra prize money of 3.000 EUR from the DTIHK.
CONGRATULATIONS to all finalists and to the overall winner Neuron Soundware!
